Alessandro Mirabelli - Head Chef, Siena Dubai

With over 15 years of international culinary experience, Chef Alessandro Mirabelli leads the kitchen at Siena Dubai. Specialising in casual yet refined Italian dining, Alessandro brings his extensive expertise to deliver an exceptional culinary journey rooted in authenticity and seasonal creativity. 

Alessandro's journey began in Florence, Italy, where he developed a solid foundation in Italian culinary techniques. His international career took off when he moved to London, working at Locanda Locatelli, the Michelin-starred restaurant by Giorgio Locatelli. Here, he mastered seasonal menu innovation and honed his craft in a high-paced, world-class environment. 

In 2018, his career then led him to Dubai where he gained invaluable experience at the prestigious Armani Restaurant, along with the Four Seasons Hotel, where he blended modern Italian flair with global influences, refining his skills in menu creation, team leadership, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Following his tenure in Dubai, Alessandro played a pivotal role in opening La Petite Maison Restaurant in Limassol, Cyprus, a French-Mediterranean fine dining concept that was later recognised in the 50 Best Restaurants Guide. As Head Chef, he was responsible for supplier sourcing, menu development and team recruitment -laying the foundations for the restaurant's award-winning reputation. He also went on to collaborate with Chef Enrico Bartolini at the Michelin-starred Fiamma Restaurant in Hong Kong, where he was instrumental in launching a contemporary Italian dining experience. 

Now at Siena Restaurant, Alessandro is focused on curating an authentic and vibrant Italian dining concept that reflects his passion for tradition and innovation. From reimagining seasonal menus to streamlining kitchen operations, Alessandro's vision ensures Siena grows to become a must-visit destination for culinary and Italian food enthusiasts in Dubai. 

Outside the kitchen, Chef Alessandro is an advocate for sustainability and local produce sourcing. Combining his cultural roots with a global outlook, he inspires his team to strive for culinary excellence at every turn.
